Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy describes how gethigherincome.com, together with its parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, and authorized service providers (collectively, the "Company," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, transfers, analyzes, licenses, and otherwise processes information in connection with:

  • Our websites and applications;
  • Any bank, financial institution, or enterprise platform in which our technology is embedded, integrated, white-labeled, or made available;
  • All current and future products, tools, models, analytics systems, financial integrations, employment matching services, embedded services, APIs, artificial intelligence systems, data platforms, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy applies regardless of whether the Services are accessed directly through our domain or through a financial institution or enterprise partner.

1a. Higher Income – Auto Apply Browser Extension

The "Higher Income – Auto Apply" Chrome extension helps you fill out online job applications using the profile information in your Higher Income account. This section describes how the extension handles your data.

  • What it accesses: When you click "Fill," the extension reads the fields, labels, and job description on the job-application page you are viewing, and reads your stored profile (name, contact details, work authorization, résumé, and any answers you have saved).
  • What it sends, and where: To generate tailored cover letters, screening answers, and job-match results, the extension sends the relevant job description and your résumé/profile text to our secure backend (Supabase Edge Functions) which calls a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini). Standard profile fields are filled locally in your browser and are not sent for AI processing.
  • What it stores: Your authentication token is kept in memory only and cleared when you close the browser. Your cached profile and any one-time answers you save (e.g., EEO responses, "how did you hear about us") are stored locally in your browser via Chrome storage so they can be reused on future applications.
  • What it never does: The extension never submits an application for you — you always review and click submit yourself. It does not read pages you are not applying on, does not collect passwords, and does not sell your data.
  • Permissions: The extension requests access to websites so it can detect and fill application forms on any job board or company careers page, and Chrome storage to remember your saved answers.

You can remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions page, which stops all of the above. Deleting your Higher Income account removes the profile data the extension relies on.
